Professor of Chemistry
Direct electrochemical production of ammonia. Electrocatalysis. Nitrogen reduction mechanisms. Applications of green ammonia.
Doug is a Professor of Chemistry at Monash University in Australia. He is also an Honorary Prof at Queens in Belfast and spends a couple of months each year in UK/Ireland. His group has been researching direct electrolysis routes to ammonia for around 5 years. They have recently formed a start-up with local investors to commercialise our technology and he is CTO of that. His group has helped get an ammonia interest group going in Australia, running annual meetings etc. They recently published a Roadmap article that members may be interested to have a look at (should be free to access otherwise he can provide a copy) https://doi.org/10.1016/j.joule.2020.04.004.Website
