Biography:
Tim Mays has over 25 years of academic research experience in the broad area of energy materials. Tim has won over GBP25M research funding, and delivered over 140 research outputs mainly in journals, books and conference proceedings. He has held leadership roles in large, multi-partner, multi-disciplinary EPSRC Supergen research consortia on sustainable hydrogen since 2003. He is currently a Co-director of the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Research Hub (http://www.h2fcsupergen.com). Tim’s research focus is hydrogen storage, especially in nanoporous materials. At Bath he is Co-director of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Sustainable Chemical Technologies, and Director of the Institute for Sustainable Energy and the Environment.
