Prof. Edman Tsang

Biography:

Edman is Professor of Chemistry and Head of Wolfson Catalysis Lab at the University of Oxford. He has direct interests in chemistry materials and applied catalysis in green energies and environment. He has been recently focusing on catalytic materials and technologies in green ammonia, which include ammonia absorption, catalytic ammonia production by thermal, photo, electrochemical means and decomposition to couple with PEM fuel cells. In collaboration with Siemens, Cardiff Univ. and STFC under EPSRC/IUK, they have recently established a demonstration unit in Harwell from wind power to ammonia production.
